Summer is a time for outdoor fun. Unfortunately, the heat brings out little insects and it's time to watch out for insect bites and stings. When outdoors, please be aware of your surroundings, especially the ground. Unless you're wearing shoes, socks, and long pants, it's smart to pay attention to the ground at all times. The red ant is one of the most dangerous insects and it’s important to be aware of their presence. Red ants are very prevalent in the hot months. A good indicator that tells you that there are red ants in the area is a raised circular sand pile on the ground, especially in rural areas with dirt roads. When you see this, you'll see a bunch of red ants scurrying all around it, going up and down in the dirt. A smart thing to do when you see red ants is quickly walk to a spot that is free of red ants and round sand piles. If you aren't able to move away fast enough and a red ant bites you, try not to panic. As traumatic and painful as it is, there are very effective natural home remedies that will help.
Get to a flat wood or concrete area as quickly as possible and shake off the red ants. Once indoors, remove your clothing and apply the following to each bite on your skin: a teaspoon of activated charcoal, a teaspoon of your own fresh urine, three drops of Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca), two to three tablespoons of distilled white vinegar, and three to five drops of pure organic lavender essential oil. Then, take six drops of Bach Flower Rescue Remedy under your tongue or drink it in a glass of water. If you need to call Emergency Rescue or go to the nearest hospital, please do so, but please give these natural home remedies a chance to help. These natural home remedies will help your body recuperate and heal. Bites and stings can be painful, but with an appropriate natural healthy approach, the trauma can be mitigated.
