Cat's Healing Purr

Relaxing and cuddling with a cat is one of my favourite relaxing pastimes. I'm an animal lover and I always enjoy spending time with my furry kids, but it's not just enjoyable. Cuddling with my kittycats is very healing and relaxing. Feeling that rhythmic calming soothing purr next to me always calms me down and soothes my soul. I've had moments when I felt very bad, distraught or very stressed and unnerved. I'd come home from a rough stressful day and all I wanted was to relax and forget about the woes of the day. As soon as I'd start crying or trying to unwind from the day, one of my precious adorable kittycats would come up to me and meow and give me the most wonderful blissful purr. They'd cuddle with me all night and help me forget about all my anguish and troubles. Relaxing with my kittycats relaxes me to the point where they lull me to sleep and all my troubles get washed away.

Studies have shown that a cat's healing purr can induce tremendous relaxation and is very soothing and healing. It's not just the wonderful sound the purr produces, but the vibration frequency of the purr. I've had moments when I'd feel stomach distress and I'd cuddle with my kittycat and my stomach would relax and the purr would actually aid my indigestion. When you feel stressed, distraught, or like you're coming apart, just cuddle with your sweet kittycat and enjoy the peace and soothing healing.
