Organic Holistic First Aid Kit

first_aid.jpgAn integral part of your organic health regimen is an organic first aid kit. A conventional first aid kit comes with all those things that provide aid in the event of a disaster or minor emergencies. The problem is that the remedies in these kits contain harmful petro-chemicals and chemical irritants. Your first aid kit should contain the same items and ingredients that you'd use in everyday life.

The natural healing remedy for all burns is pure organic lavender oil. For minor cuts or abrasions you can use lavender oil and tea tree oil, which is the pure essential oil extracted from the Tea Tree in Australia. Both oils provide quick healing for any wound or skin abrasion. Pure aloe gel is also wonderful for burns and abrasions. For respiratory problems, there's a wonderful product that contains only pure organic essential oils of cajeput, menthol, peppermint, and eucalyptus that's very healing for asthma attacks and nasal congestion. When in your local organic natural food store look for a small inhaler with the name "Olba's" on it. You can also suck on a lozenge that aids in breathing trouble, nasal congestion, and calming the body. This organic natural "herbal lozenge" with the name "Zand" and flavor "menthol" contains herbs, such as horehound and sage, menthol, peppermint essential oil, and eucalyptus and is sweetened only with brown rice syrup. Charcoal, in either vegetarian capsule or tablet form, is another necessary remedy for your first aid kit. Charcoal goes right to your stomach and absorbs all the gas and acid creating painful distress. Charcoal and pure peppermint oil are vital for stomach distress. Bach Flower Essences have been known for decades to ease the body, mind, and spirit when under emotional, mental, or physical distress. It aids the nervous system in healing, creating a sense of calm. "Rescue Remedy" tincture is your best friend for anxiety and severe distress. Pure natural cinnamon is another wonderful herb that's helpful in aiding stomach distress and calming the nerves. An emergency should be no different than daily life. Petro-chemicals have no place in daily life or emergencies. The herbal plant kingdom provides everything you need for daily living and emergency survival.
