To compliment your wonderful vegan organic Thanksgiving meal, keep your home sustainable and unpolluted. From the tablecloth and napkins to your home decorations and indoor air quality, your indoor environment should be clean, green, organic, and free of harmful petro-chemical pollutants. The focus should be organic, green, and natural.
The best kind of tablecloth is one that is 100% cotton, simple, and free of any petro-chemical residue, fragrance or detergent. If you need to clean your tablecloth, it's best to use all-natural, non-toxic, biodegradable products, such as vinegar, baking soda, organic soap from a natural health food store, and Borax. It's very simple. Just wash your tablecloth with 2 cups white vinegar, 1 cup baking soda, ½ cup organic, non-toxic, biodegradable soap, and ½ cup Borax in hot water in your washing machine and your tablecloth will be as good as new; clean, green, and free of harmful petro-chemical residue. If you're using plastic plates and ware, please make sure they were not processed with petro-chemicals so they're free of smelly residue. Also, please make sure that they can be reused so you don't have to discard them in the garbage. This same rule applies to cups, glasses, and any other plastics you're using in the kitchen. Your paper napkins and towels should be made from recycled, organic, chlorine-free paper. To keep the indoor air clean and smelling fresh and naturally clean, it's best to use soy or Jojoba wax candles and air fresheners with natural, organic, non-toxic, earth-friendly pure plant essences. All products that you use in your home should be organic, natural, non-toxic, and earth-friendly and purchased from an organic natural living store. Express your gratitude by keeping the indoor and outdoor air clean, green, and organic.
